Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Cleveland Metroparks to provide topographic surveys for the Mill Creek Connector Trail Phase Two proposed trail extension. The proposed multi-use trail extension started at Bacci Park and extended 5000 feet cross country to the city of Garfield Heights. The survey included a topographic survey and cross sections of 50 feet intervals, 75 feet either side of the proposed centerline of trail and staking the proposed centerline of the trail at all angle points a maximum of 100 foot spacing.

H & A prepared all AutoCAD existing conditions base map to be used in the design of the proposed trail. The survey was performed using GPS and conventional survey equipment and also located 28 soil borings that had been drilled along the trail.

Wellhead Site Design Development

Since 2007 Hammontree & Associates Limited and Morris Knowles & Associates, Inc., A Hammontree Company, have offered wellhead site design development and permitting and surveying for exploration and production of oil and gas in the Marcellus and Utica Shale formations.

TUS-77-32.72 Multi-Use Bridge

Hammontree was hired by the Stark County Park District to complete planning and design for this bridge over IR-77 that reconnects the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath between Fort Laurens in Bolivar and the Village of Zoar.

Canton-Walnut Avenue Corridor Complete Streets

This project received the “Great Lakes Region Project of the Year for Projects under $3 Million” in October 2014 from the American Society of Highway Engineers. This project also received in 2014, “Outstanding Highway Project under $3 million” from the American Society of Highway Engineers and an “Honor Award” from the American Council of Engineering Companies Ohio.

Akron Canton Airport Entrance Road

Hammontree & Associates, Ltd. was selected by the Akron-Canton Airport to study alternatives and complete the detailed design for a major reconstruction of the Entrance / Exit for Loop Road and Parking at the airport. This project received an Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Ohio & Erie Canal Aqueduct

Hammontree & Associates was the design engineer for the new Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail Tuscarawas River Aqueduct Bridge. This new bridge spans over the Tuscarawas River from Bethlehem Township in Stark County to Lawrence Township in Tuscarawas County.

Chesapeake Energy Office Complex

Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Chesapeake Energy to design all roads, utilities, mass grading, environmental permitting, and construction staking for this industrial park.

General RV

Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Bair Excavating to obtain a survey, wetland delineation and design, apply for a nationwide permit, and prepare civil site plans for approximately seven acres.

Marquardt Water Line

Hammontree was hired by the City of North Canton to prepare construction plans for a waterline and road replacement on Marquardt Avenue between East Maple Street and 7th Street.

Mount Victory Waterline

Hammontree & Associates was hired as part of Belmont County’s continuing waterline extension projects. This project included approximately 56,000 feet of 8-inch and 6-inch waterline, valves, hydrants, and service connections for a portion of Mt. Victory Road.

Wilkshire Hills and Sandyville

Hammontree & Associates, Limited assisted the Tuscarawas County Sewer District with the preparation of the plans and specifications and the construction for improvements to the Wilkshire Hills and Sandyville-Ease Sparta Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP’S).

Hercules Apartments

Broadview Development, LLC selected Hammontree & Associates, Limited to provide engineering and surveying services for Phase 1 renovations to the Hercules Engine Plant.

Goodwill Industries

Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Hershman Architects and Berengaria Development for civil site engineering and surveying for this new Goodwill Industries Store in North Canton, Ohio.

LuK USA

Hammontree was hired by R.G. Smith Company to provide civil engineering for this new 86,000 square foot plant expansion.

Camp Y-Noah Nimisila Spillway

Hammontree & Associates, Limited received an Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for this project for engineering and surveying tasks needed to address the ODNR Inspection Report. The project included a new spillway and bridge at Camp Y-Noah.

Hyatt Place

Hammontree was the "eyes and ears" for this out of town developer. Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by TMI Hospitality to provide civil site engineering and surveying for a new Hyatt Place Suites in Jackson Township.

American Energy Partners

Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Elliott & Associates Architects from Oklahoma to design civil site plans and work with the local agencies on obtaining required permits for the new field office complex for American Energy – Utica, LLC. in Cambridge, Ohio.
